RUM "There's nought no doubt so much the spirit calms as rum and true religion"- Lord Byron

Rum frozen Drinks have been what we have been enjoying all summer. We have a large bottle of rum, we use frozen berries, fresh berries, ice and what ever we have on hand to enjoy one of these in the evening after the kids go to bed. AAAAHHHH....Summer.
When we had Marnie over last week for dinner she even had a Rum Frozen Drink with us.

Aaahhh Nice

Ellie watching from inside; wanting to be outside with her brothers.
This is the boys favorite thing to do. On Monday, the boys and I went to six Flags; Hurricane Harbor, WOWEE was that fun and awesome. Thank you to Anna Marie for the free ticket! Ellie is already cruising all over the house, the gate went up today to keep her off of the steps, she already knows how to crawl up those! She is growing up soo fast!

Twenty Four
It is what we do with most of our free-time! We have actually watched all five seasons now. I bought Patrick season one, for Christmas this year, and needless to say after watching that DVD we were hooked. It does contain graphic, violent over the top scenes. However, if you are discerning it is an awesome show. We have enjoyed immensely.
This show can best be described as the most innovative, ground-breaking television show of the past 50 years. The reason this show is so ground breaking is the fact that it has used split screen cameras, and a real time format to create the element of a quality made show. The show follows the worst days of likable, humble hero Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and each episode chronicles every hour of the day, and is shot in real-time.
We were hooked at every jump and turn.
A big bonus of the show is that 24 was constantly surprising in unexpected moments, and you never know what to expect on the show. Anything can and does happen.
" I'm federal agent Jack Bauer, and today is the longest day of my life."

Underpaid
Although I am incredibly grateful for Patrick's job, and his love for this family working hard, I respect him and feel very blessed to have his support, and love I still want to rant about this. I was reading the local paper, it had listings of what people make....I was searching the area where my husband's job type/College education was listed. I was horrified, I also learned that for a family of five we are making below poverty level. eek! Which I have been used to in the past. (my heart has changed) He makes a fraction of what other's make who are in this line of business. Patrick, has been an over whelming success at his job. He is doing very well.
I want to say, I do feel very blessed and that God is in control of this family, I struggle with resting in the comforts of God providing. I keep a list of things to do: New garbage disposal, so I can use our cold water, again in my kitchen, New shower unit the tile is falling apart, and water damage is taking its ugly toll. Same for the sink in the kitchen. New kitchen counter tops, to finish our basement, our garage, do some landscaping, etc. Maybe to pay our bills on time. Please pray that God will give us perfect peace, and that we would trust Him with our finances completely, and to consistently be Thankful for what we do have.
We have a-lot to be thankful for.

Weir's and Weddings

Happy Birthday to the Weir's our love to you in the ATL! We miss you guys and would like to visit soon. We love Weirs and Weddings!

We Just attended my cousin Johnny's wedding, on Saturday night. The reception was a-lot of fun we took the our little one's and they were passed around by family members. We sat with my Mom and Dad, and my brother and his girlfriend Jenny, and Glenn and Erin, it was so neat to catch up with them. Glenn is some one I went to High School with. We grew up together. And Erin was his High school sweetie. I didn't have my camera, I was so upset, but I will eventually get photos! Johnny married Jessica, who I knew her brother Nick really well from CMSU. The reception went on into the wee hours of the night but we got out of there about 11:30 which was still to late for us!! We also celebrated Chris and Andrea Sanders wedding last month! God's rich blessings on all of you as you enter this marriage Covenant!

While (Beth) Shopping at Schnucks proved to be painful in more than one way, after slipping on a wet floor, I suffered a blow to the knee. It was very minor, I ended up only getting a deep bone bruise, and twisting some ligaments. Which is just painful. Dr.'s orders were to prop up my legs and relax (at my house?) That is just funny!
Also I have suffered in the past with "Patellofemoral syndrome" It is the term used to describe pain on and around the patella or kneecap. A common cause is damage to the surface underneath the kneecap. It was brought on about having played so many sports. I was given a prescription for "physical Therapy" Operating is something my Doctor wants to do...we are going to wait, for the kids to get a little older.

Zoolander
We finally got to watch Zoolander. We have been wanting to watch this for years it seems, we have rented a few times.........and every time, something would come up, and we were not able to watch it! I saw it laying on a some one's desk and was seriously sooo excited!! She was very nice to let us borrow it! This movie totally was worth the wait, LOVED IT!! The cast was great, it was what you would expect from a Ben Stiller Comedy. Like any of those movies it had its moments. A few more obvious redeeming broken points are the film’s savage jabs at eating disorders, fashion obsessions, sweatshops and child labor, and many celebrities’ philanthropic apathy, which is totally through out this movie. Here, too, Zoolander uses ridiculous silly humor to get certain points across. I loved it! thought it was hilarious, even though the Hero is shallow, immoral and goofy. "There has got to be more to life than just being really, really, really, ridiculously good-looking. he is right! He fights the "evil forces", gets the girl, and in the end saved the day with Magnum! Yay Derek!
